Students can apply to the University of Pisa – Department of Veterinary Sciences as Erasmus student as follows:
Mobility for study: 3-12 month period of studies for the Winter Term (WT is from mid-September to mid-February) or/and for the Spring Term (ST is from mid-February to July).
Please note, in order to be nominated as Erasmus student, it is necessary:
- a Bilateral Agreement in force between your home University and the University of Pisa (specifically with the Department of Veterinary Sciences of University of Pisa)
- your Home Erasmus Coordinator has to nominate you for the studies period in the University of Pisa, including the following information:
Name and Surname of the student
Student’s email
Student’s Date of birth
Male/Female
Length of the Period of Stay (Winter term or Spring Term or Full Year)
Department and Level of Studies

Nominated students must have an A2 Italian certified (CILS, CELI, DELI A2, PLIDA A2, or any certificate/declaration issued by any local school of Italian Language of the student’s home country. PLEASE NOTE – nominated students must be in possession of the A2 Italian certified at the time of the application to the Erasmus Organizer Portal (for further info about application procedure see HERE) – Italian language certificate/declaration must be issued in Italian or, as alternative, in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, German or French)

Student coming from Turkey: if you need an Acceptance Letter, please, specify the request after receiving our email of acceptance confirmation. We will provide you also further info regarding visa process.
Nomination Deadlines
- 30th of June for students who will attend the Winter Term or the Full Academic Year.
- 15th of November for students who will attend the Spring Term.
