The Department of Veterinary Sciences is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 by the certification body KIWA CERMET for the management of blood donations and the preparation of blood components in dogs and cats by the Veterinary Transfusion Medicine service, for the management of the stock warehouse, for the management of the supply of medicines by the Pharmacy Service of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and for the analyses carried out on behalf of third parties by the following laboratory services:

- Genetic Biotechnologies
- Histopathological Diagnostics
- Pharmacology and Toxicology
- Veterinary Clinical Pathology
- Equine Semen Production
The Quality Certification represents for the Department an instrument to guarantee ever higher quality standards and to pursue customer satisfaction, continuous improvement of the services offered, staff involvement and management improvement as objectives.
