Definition of the tasks of the Year Coordinators of the Degree Course in Veterinary Medicine

The Year Coordinator is appointed by the President of the Degree Course among the teachers involved in the teaching of each year of the course. 

The tasks of the Year Coordinator are: 

  • To preside at the beginning of the teaching activities for each semester, taking care to provide students with information relating to the year of the course and any other information that may be necessary, on the recommendation of the President of the Degree Course. 
  • To propose among the students, the election of 2 representatives who will be spokespersons for the needs of the class and who will provide the coordinator with the list of students and their subdivision into groups for practical teaching activities. 
  • To send all the teachers of the semester the names and email addresses of the class representatives, the list of students and the division into groups.
  • To carry out coordination between the teachers of the specific year of the course, in order to optimize the provision of teaching. 
  • To collect any critical issues of teaching within their course year and present them to the President of the Degree Course for subsequent discussion in the Joint Commission and in the Degree Course Council.
  • Promote the teaching activities evaluation by students’ assessment questionnaires at the end of each semester. 
  • To collaborate in verifying the timetables of theoretical and practical lessons prepared by the President of the Degree Course and by the Department’s Teaching Unit, indicating any specific problems.
