- Social innovation in the agro-livestock sector. The group prepares innovative tools for the management of the transition and the diffusion of innovation with particular reference to the theme of social farming
- Urban and peri-urban agriculture. The group researches transformation processes that affect primary activity in the urban and peri-urban environment and deals with urban food planning
- Quality and typicity. The group carries out research activities aimed at creating, enhancing, and communicating the quality of the products, analyzing their impact on commercial strategies
- International cooperation in the developing countries. The group provides technical, scientific, and teaching support in the context of agro-zootechnical development and animal health projects in those countries
- Veterinary health economics. The group develops research activities related to the economic evaluation of health programs and services
- The group develops methodologies and tools for monitoring and evaluating National, European, and International rural development projects
