Additional Learning Obligations (OFA)

Verification of initial knowledge and recovery of deficiencies

Students who have obtained a mark lower than 1/3 of the maximum achievable score in the Biology competition test, despite having been admitted to the Course, will be assigned an additional learning obligation (OFA). The program must be fulfilled within the first academic year. Enrollment in exams relating to courses in subsequent years is subject to this completion within the first year.

Students who have been assigned the OFA are required to follow the online remedial course in Biology offered by the Degree Course. After following the online course, will the student has to take a multiple-choice written test which will be considered passed upon reaching 70% of correct answers. The test is delivered at least twice in the academic year. Passing the test results in the fulfillment of the OFA. Detailed rules are contained in the “Procedure for verification of initial knowledge and recovery of deficiencies“.
