Board of Tutoring, Entrance Orientation and Peer Tutoring The Tutoring Board of the Department of Veterinary Sciences coordinates and monitors all tutoring and student guidance activities. It was established by the Department Council in accordance with the University Regulations on tutoring. The Committee is composed of faculty members, one student representative, and the Head of the Academic Office (or their delegate).In particular, it is responsible for coordinating incoming orientation activities and peer tutoring programmes. The activities of the Tutoring Committee, including incoming orientation and peer tutoring, are governed by a specific Department procedure. The Committee is responsible for organizing and monitoring tutoring services and also has an advisory role, submitting proposals to the Degree Programme Councils and to the Department Council on the initiatives to be undertaken. The Tutoring Board of the Department of Veterinary Sciences (DVS) was established by the Department Council on 30/03/2016 with Resolution No. 49. On 28 September 2017, in addition to the responsibilities established by the University Regulations on Tutoring, the Committee was also assigned the preliminary and advisory functions of the Orientation Committee (Director’s Decree, Prot. No. 6939 of 28/09/2017). The Tutoring Board meets periodically and records the minutes of its meetings, which are filed in their original form at the Teaching Office.
