10th International Symposium on Equine Embryo Transfer and Technologies Pisa, 3rd-5th July 2020

10th International Symposium on Equine Embryo Transfer and Technologies Pisa, 3rd-5th July 2020

Dear colleagues,

it is my pleasure to invite you to participate to the International Symposium on Equine Embryo Transfer and Technologies (ISEET) to be held in Pisa – July 3-5, 2020.

This Symposium is the highest expression of the research and the applied technologies in the field of equine reproduction. The first ISEET was held in 1982, in Ithaca, New York, and the last one in 2016, in Ghent, Belgium. This Symposium is generously supported by The Dorothy Russell Havemeyer Foundation, New York, USA.

As in previous years, the ISEET will be a satellite of the International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR) that will be held in Bologna (Italy) between June 29 and July 2. The journey from Bologna to Pisa is quick and easy both by car and train.

Pisa University was founded in 1343 and hosted the first Italian Congress of Science in 1839, with more than 400 participants. Pisa University houses almost all the academic disciplines and degrees, about 50,000 students coming from Italy and abroad and it is well integrated in the Pisa historical city.

Pisa, the city of Galileo Galilei and of the Leaning Tower, is located in the centre of Tuscany at 14 km from the sea, 22 km from Lucca, 83 km from Florence and 120 km from Siena, and it is also fully integrated in the Tuscany way of life based on culture, history, beautiful landscapes, hospitality, food and wine.

The Symposium will be an excellent occasion for a high level update on research and practice in the field of equine assisted reproductive technologies and also an opportunity to stay in the heart of breath-taking Tuscany.

On behalf of the organizing committee,

Francesco Camillo
